1. Purpose
Wefect is a homeowner-guided defect inspection, documentation and reporting tool for recording the condition of a property.
2. Property projects
A paid Wefect project is intended for one property. A project must not be cleared and reused for a different property.
3. Digital purchases
Android digital purchases are made through Google Play Billing and iOS digital purchases are made through Apple In-App Purchase. The website is not the primary checkout for Wefect Quick Scan, Wefect Basic or Wefect Plus.
4. Plans
Wefect Quick Scan is RM12.99 per property and includes one Quick Summary PDF with essential functionality, visible defect and ponding checks. Wefect Basic is RM24.99 per property and supports up to three generated PDF report versions. Wefect Plus is RM49.99 per property and includes AI features with unlimited PDF versions. Eligible same-property upgrades use the price shown in the app store at the time of purchase.
5. PDF versions
Re-downloading an already-generated PDF does not by itself consume another generation. The generation limit applies when a new report version is generated.
6. Wefect Plus AI
Wefect Plus may analyse selected inspection photos, suggest rooms from a floor plan, generate clearer report descriptions and run a Final Review before report generation. Saved findings and generated reports remain linked to the relevant property project.
7. Safe use
Follow the in-app instructions and do not perform unsafe, destructive or unauthorised tests. Serious cracks, electrical concerns, major leakage or other safety concerns should be handled appropriately.
8. Service scope
Wefect does not guarantee that every condition will be identified or that a developer will accept or rectify every submitted item.
9. Platform purchases and refunds
Purchase verification and refund state are handled through the relevant app-store transaction and Wefect's backend entitlement records. Platform refund rules may also apply.
10. Changes
Wefect may update these terms when the product, platform requirements or service features change. The latest version will be published on this page.
