Inspect within a safe scope
Follow the guided visual and functional checks in Wefect. Do not open sealed systems, dismantle fittings, enter restricted areas or perform any action that could cause injury or property damage.
Electrical checks
Use consumer tools only according to their instructions. Do not touch exposed wiring or damaged electrical components. Stop immediately if you notice overheating, sparking, burning smells or any other unsafe condition.
Water and ponding checks
Prepare the area before testing, monitor the water level and keep water away from electrical points. Stop the test if water escapes the intended area or creates a risk to another unit.
Heights and restricted areas
Do not climb on unstable furniture, ledges or unsafe ladders. Photograph high or inaccessible areas from a safe position and arrange suitable follow-up when needed.
Serious conditions
Pause the inspection when you encounter a condition that appears dangerous, unstable or likely to worsen if tested. Secure the area where possible and notify the relevant responsible party.
Reports and follow-up
Keep photos, locations and descriptions clear so the developer or relevant party can understand and follow up on each recorded condition.
